Relief Society Christmas Dinner

I attended the Relief Society Christmas Dinner tonight for my ward and it was very nice. We had super yummy baked potatoes with choice of toppings, salad, rolls, and chili. Everyone brought a dessert to share....it was great! Then we had a christmas program with a story and lots of singing. I really love this ward and everyone in it. Its so full of super talented, loving people who care about each other.

Hi

Hello my name is Beth and I am a blog slacker! Hopefully I will get a little better with keeping up. I've got the winter blues......I really REALLY really dislike winter....but Christmas is coming up and I am excited about that.

Our New Van!

Here is our new (to us, anyways!) van. We love it! Its great for the kids to have more room and it should be wonderful for the trips we have planned in the future. It is a Chrysler Town And Country.

Hannah Turns 7

Hannah turned 7 on February 7th. I can't beleive how fast the time is flying by. Its bittersweet to me with her being my last......here is the birthday princess
And here she is with her gifts and the craziest face, I don't know why she conjured it up but thats just Hannah for you......

Sushi

I have been trying new things lately. I decided when I was in San Diego that I would try something I never thought I would EVER try.....sushi. Here is the piece I decided on......hmmmm better douse it in soy sauce first, since I like soy sauce...lol

Here goes nothing.....down the hatch......can you tell I am totally loving this whole experience???? I wasn't going to share this pic but come on......how can you not share a pic like this??? LOL

Not as bad as I thought but definately not my first pick off a menu!

My Nephew, The Marine!

Here is my nephew, Doug, who just graduated from the Marine Corps Bootcamp in San Diego. I don't get to see him much so it was great to fly up for the graduation. I am very proud of him. He has had a few bumps in the road but pulled up his bootstraps and got it together and now he is one of the few, the proud, the MARINES! OOOHRAH!
