Hannah on our local news

C Date

For our C date, we had another first....The Crehst Museum. It was the first time for either of us and we had a good time. It was very interesting. I love anything to do with Hanford History so we spent the majority of our time on that stuff. There is a great hands on area there too that we plan on taking Hannah to sometime soon. We ate dinner at an italian restaurant called Casa Mia. It was pretty good. I had butternut squash ravioli in a sage and shallot butter. We also had spumoni ice cream for the first time.

Our B Date

For our B date, we went to The Bees Knees, an antique place in the uptown that we had never been to. We also looked around in Becky's consignment store. We bought the coolest drop leaf table. We have been wanting to get a smaller, round table for our tiny dining area and we thing that this will work perfectly. It can be small with the leafs dropped down when not in use and big for meals or games with the leafs up. We also had burgers at Burger King.

This was a coold wintry week for us here in Richland. About 7 inches of snow PLUS freezing rain on top of that. Have had the whole family home for a couple days but poor Matt has to work all night in this frrezing cold/rain :( I feel so bad for him, but I guess it prepares him for real life. Hope everyone else is staying safe and warm!

ABC Date

We are participating in an ABC dating group with some good friends of ours. This was our first one (letter A). We had lunch at the Atomic Ale. We had never been there before and probably wouldn't have gone if it hadn't been for the ABC dates. We had yummy tortellini w/pesto and roasted red peppers and a honey wheat garlic roll, and lemon pepper chicken w/ veggies.

Then we went Bowling at the Atomic Lanes. We had a great time but haven't been bowling in a loooong time and boy did our scores reflect it!

Time to start planning for the letter B now......

Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. We were able to feel the love of Christ, our family, and our friends. We ate too much, of course, so it will be back to the gym for the hubby and I. LOL We shared some incredibly yummy meals and just enjoyed spending the holiday with some of our best friends, which is priceless to us. Its truly a blessing when you have friends that you consider like family, especially when you live away from your families. I don't have any pics to share, unfortunately, but still wanted to share how blessed my family felt.

Emily got her hair cut today and really loves it. It looks good on her. This is just the basic look...we haven't "played" with it yet.
