Hannah's First Day of School!!!

Wow.....Hannah's first day of school. It is just weird saying that! I can't beleive my "baby" is in school. So, she is in pm kindergarten. That just works better for us since neither of us are what you would call morning people. This is Hannah on the first day. My friend Kate actually did her hair up cute for me because it was not only the first day of school but also Chris had his surgery that morning. Kate was a dear and watched Hannah for us that morning and then also got her ready for us since the surgery ran a little longer than expected.

I added this pic because the first day of school for Hannah was only an hour long. This was on her 2nd day but it was the first actual full day of her pm session.

Hair Today, Gone Tommorrow!

The girls got their hair cut today. We weren't planning on it but went with our friend who was getting her hair cut and it turned into a "girl's beauty day". It works out great for school which is starting in about 10 days..........Hannah got a little bob cut.


and Emily got her A frame cut from before evened out so she can grow her hair back out.
We all think both cuts turned out great!

Roaring Youth Jam

We headed down to the river today for the Roaring Youth Jam. This was our first time at the Jam for us. The girls had a good time and we were lucky enough that a local artist we know (His wife is our mother's group leader) was drawing characatures (sp?) at his booth. Thanks John! I thought they turned out great! This first one is Hannah............ And here is Emily.................

Breaking Dawn, Baby!!!

Kate, Emily and I went to the Breaking Dawn book release at Hastings. Kate made us these fabulous t shirts to wear.....aren't they great? Here is the front of the shirt...............

Ok, this girl next to Emily was seriously driving Kate mad. She was acting way crazy about the whole thing!
And although I do not like this picture of me and am trying to figure out how I was the lucky one that had to be in front (short straw, maybe???), here we are with our new books.

War Wound

This is what happens when you are 5 years old and you wrestle around with your 15 year old brother. This is Hannah's first "war wound" from her brother. She got an elbow to the cheek when they were wrestling around. It was an accident and poor Matt feels awful about it. Maybe this will be a lesson learned for the both of them????

Happy 4th of July!!!!!

This was our fist time being in Idaho Falls for the 4th of July. We are usually traveling elsewhere around this time so these are our fist experiences with the 4th of July festivities here in Idaho Falls. Birthday Dinner

We took Emily to Garcia's mexican restaurant for her birthday dinner specifically for the embarrassment factor. They put this big huge sombrero on your head and sing to you. She was not very happy about that portion of the night. LOL Here are a few pictures I took of the evening.
